Medications list

Ben currently has the following medications

• Losec - for reflux (capsule dissolved in sodium bicarbonate)
• Infant Gaviscon - for reflux
• Domperidone - for reflux
• Tegretol - for seizures
• Phenobarbitol - for seizures
• Buccal Midazolam - for seizures
• Doxazosin - to assist urine output
• Melatonin - to aid restful sleep
• Baclofen - to relax muscles
• Lactulose - for constipation
• Glycerine suppositories - for constipation
• Epipen - for peanut allergy
• Clarithromycin - antibiotic cover over the winter
• Adcortyl in Orabase - for bites to his mouth
• Epaderm and Sudocrem - for all his creases!
• Hydrocortizone - for eczema

I keep a simple chart inside the medicine cupboard on one of the doors with the up to date dose of each medicine for Ben's carers.  I have also written "The Ben Manual"  which is kept in the kitchen with detailed explanation of how to care for Ben.
