Hi Ben! Hope you are well. Just wanted to say - what a lovely website you have! I have enjoyed looking briefly at it just now and will look more tonight when home with Josh. It is a superb idea and a very happy, positive and useful site for many people! Josh will enjoy looking at your smily photos! Love Jenna xxx

Hi all

I am really please to have almost finished Ben's website. I hope to finish Ben's story by the end of the year and hopefully soon we will also be able to upload some small home movie clips of Ben.

I have wanted to tell Ben's story for a long time.

I hope we can keep in touch with all our friends through this site and perhaps make some new ones.

Sally x

Question Permission
by Sarpsmom on 03/06/2010 11:34

Hi Sally,
I read the poem of "Wellcome to Holland" in canavan foundation site before the page was changed. It was the time when Sarp was diagnosed with Canavan. It is really very touching poem still I cry when I read it. I kept a copy of that poem and read sometimes. Now I saw it in Ben's page and I wanna ask permission to use it.
Now we are preparing a web site for Sarp. And I want to share this poem in Turkish in Sarp's page if you do not mind.
In Turkey there is no individual site of a canavan site. So we are very excited. I hope I will share it with all of you as soon as possible.
Thank you

Post poem reply
by Sally Fletcher on 03/07/2010 06:09

Hi
I am sorry for the slow reply. The poem was not written by me but I was so touched by it too that I put it on Ben's site and like you it still makes me cry when I read it but it explains things so well. It's up to you if like us you decide to use it.
Best wishes
Sally x
